Hey guys! I am so excited to get to share with you my finished Tigey! As I type this, little Tigey is on his way to his forever home to my niece!
I wanted to share with you my process and what I used just in case you are considering making one yourself!
I purchased the pattern on Etsy HERE.
For the eyes, I highly recommend using the thick flat felt sheet. I found it worked better to cut evenly and to sew.
You do need to know how to make a french knot but it is fairly easy to get the hang of, you'll find this video is helpful. The tutorial starts at about 5:00 minutes in.
I do recommend to overstuff the head. I found it to be best with this specific pattern because the shape needs to be way more rounded at the bottom than how I did.

All the pieces are easy to sew on with how she ends each limb and ears.

For the nose, I used embroidery floss instead of the suggested worsted weight. That is just a preference thing. It will turn out great both ways.

The dark blue Tigey stripes were where I had a little trouble because I personally used the wrong kind of yarn which was supposed to be sport weight (weight 3 ) and not 4. That was my mistake so what I did was chained less and matched up the stripes with the head just like in the picture and referenced back to the pattern so the face would have enough space to sew on whiskers and all.
